Meatless Monday: Hummus

Vegans are known for loving hummus and I am certainly no exception. Besides, don’t you know that #hummusisafoodgroup ?? Hummus is super versatile. While my preferred method of hummus consumption is with crackers or veggies, it can also be used as a salad dressing, smeared on bread, added to wraps, etc. Also, please don’t limit your hummus making to chickpeas only!

    Thank you for including me in your hummus line up! So many of these look good, I will need to try them. I am not sure I have a favorite hummus or way to use it I feel like it all depends on my mood!

      You’re welcome Sarah! I love your blog and your recipes. I do have a favorite recipe; roasted red pepper, I love it on Triscuit Fire Roasted Tomato Crackers. But, I will never turn down hummus in any form!

          It would be fantastic on a wrap! I don’t usually keep roasted red peppers in the house either, only when I need them for a recipe.

    I love hummus, too. Mostly a lemon-heavy classic but I have a cucumber hummus we really like, too.

    Those are some nice looking recipes for hummus! I usually just wing it and make my own kind but might need to try some of these ones out now.. I’m especially intrigued by the Sweet and Spicy sweet potato one.. Need to get a food processor/blender ASAP because my hummus cravings are ginormous after visiting this post.

      Hey Evelin! I could live off of hummus I think, he he he. I didn’t have a food processor for a long time. Just an immersion blender that has a small container attachment. I made very small portions of hummus!

    Great hummus roundup! I haven’t had any in ages and just bought some from the store yesterday… silly me as I should just make some myself.
    I’m quite intrigued by the dill pickle hummus as well as the pizza one. YUM!
